EVERY KID I KNOW played with Tonka trucks but at some point I guess they decide they don't want to actually do that for a living. But is it everything your 5-year old heart once dreamed it would be?

For the first 5 years it is then it gets repetitive. But in all reality the only other job id rather do is be a real cowboy. To me there's nothing like climbing up a big ole tractor and operating

No the forklift I drive weighs about 40,000 pounds and it can lift around 12,000 pounds comfortably

Are forklifts hard to tip over? I've never seen one on its side, but they're so high up i figured it would happen a lot.

It is easy to flip one that's when knowing your load limit for the machine and the terrain you are operating in comes in handy. I have dropped loaders on there front end before, never on its side though. I am a professional and know how to get myself out of a jam like that. NEVER to comfortable with your machine You can hurt others ,yourself or equipment if you get to cocky

Do construction workers think it's stupid to have to wear helmets everywhere, or do they actually prevent injuries frequently?

I work in a pipe yard and everyone that is not in a vehicle with R.O.P.S (rollover protection system) is required to wear a hard hat. Yes they think it's stupid. But I have seen it protect many people working a pipe wrench that slipped and hit them in the head

Has anyone ever asked you to bring the forklift over to their house for a private job and are you allowed to?
