Is working there your long-term career plan, or are you hoping to transition into something else?

Asked by Sam over 9 years ago

The nice thing about chick-fil-a is there are always opportunities to advance within the store and corporate. Transitioning into something else is the goal, restaurant work is hard and stressful.

Do you still work in-store, and how can someone transition from an in-store role to something in CFA's regional or corporate offices?

Asked by LDAL over 9 years ago

I work in the store. I'm not really interested in going to work for corporate, so I've never really looked into the steps, but from what I have seen you would have to apply just like anyone else. It looks better coming from a good store... good scores, sales, profit, ect. If you currently work for cfa check with your owner, I believe they would have to okay you applying.

What kind of checks are done to make sure that someone you hire isn't an illegal immigrant?

Asked by Robb over 9 years ago

When you apply at any job you must complete the I-9 firm within 3 days of starting work. The I-9. In order to complete the I-9, workers have to present appropriate documentation, and employers must examine the document or documents to decide if they reasonably appear to be genuine and relate to the individual.  That's what I do, from there I hand it over to the owner who deals with the rest. There is a large fine for not completing the form

I have emailed the company or gm about obtaining coupons for free stuff for my fundraising organization and I have yet to hear back.who else can I go to? I am trying to get the little cards for desserts, etc. For our sponsors and supporters.

I would suggest calling your local store and ask to speak with the marketing director. If the store does not have one ask for the manager.

What's the difference between your nuggets and McDonalds McNuggets?

Chick-fil-A nuggets are 100% real chicken and hand breaded in the store.

When do yall ask for your size for the uniform and does the look of shoes matter?

Asked by Tony almost 7 years ago

I always asked for size once I reached out to the new hire to let them know they got the job. I normally kept at least a few shirts of each size and pants in the store so they could at least get one set of uniforms while waiting for the order to come in.

Shoes must be all black and non slip. Other than that you can wear whatever style you want for the most part (no open toes). Most employees wear gym shoe style.
