Ok, so I cover 2500 square miles with my 2 employers that I work for and have handled at least 20 possible Covid cases. I had Covid in Feb and managed to live just fine. I have 2 daughter in laws that came down with it. One worked at Walmart and the other is a nurse. The latter almost died due to Covid complications and childbirth involving clotting after a c-section. The twins were born with Covid but were asymptomatic and managed just fine. The Media has blown this way out of proportion due to politics. Yes people have lost their lives and I am sorry but we lose on average over 50,000 every year from the flu and that has been for decades. I am not a sheep I have no faith in face mask. Our immune system is a wonderful thing but if you are in your 70, 80's or have serious medical issues or risk you are at an increased risk of mortality. With that said the flu kills alot of these people just from that. But my personal belief is that this is blown out of proportion and there is people that should go to jail over some of this. This is only my personal feeling and everyone is entitled to one.

Do you think keeping monkeys as pets is a bad idea?
Most are able to build an emotional wall and can concentrate on the tasks at hand. But there are some that can only do it for so long and have to retire and unfortunately there are so who take their own lives. I know of at least 5 co workers who have killed themselves. I have had a few calls that are imbedded in my head but can keep them back in the cave of my mind.
I forget the the name but look under flammable liquid firefighting techniques,
Considering you spend 1/3 of your life during your career it is difinately a lifestyle. After 35 yrs and 12 more to go it develops your life. so between calls, classes there isn’t alot to do otherwise. But with so many kids today it seems to me that they think of it as just a job and there is not alot of dedication to the career. going to paramedic school not has just enveloped my life for the last 8 months.
