I live in HUD apartments, second floor, and for two years now the woman across from me has been unable to get down the stairs by herself. No one seems to be concerned. She is arrogant and stubborn and refused a move. Should I contact someone?

I have taken the oral interview for my fire department and was wondering how long does the period usually lasts till you hear back from examiners regarding you moving on in the process and if you don't does that mean that you failed

Thankyou. Well I typically need2 take my inhaler soon after exercise like running. Would that count as "interfering during exercise" Idk the parameter or where the line is drawn. Is it that I need to be able to exercise without then needing inhaler?

Shoulder answer please. Also,Seeking clarification on "function without asthma acting up". Inhaler used more than 1x a day typically & used after exercise like running. Thoughts/knowledge on this asthma working with trying to be firefighter? Thankyou

I work with several FF that had asthma. As long as your meds keep it from interfering during exercise you could achieve your goal.

Shoulder not yet surgically repaired. Can I take the CPAT first, then surgery, then academy to become firefighter? Idk the best order. Or do i need to have surgery b4 begin process of becoming firefighter. When in order of process is the medical exam

Asked by Winston almost 2 years ago

I would have the repair done before you start. Because they will not let you do the cpat with a known injury.

Interested in recruiting process. Gathered there's orientation, cpat & written test. If pass those, then an interview. Is this correct & please fill me in. When is the medical test? What if have asthma(inhaler daily)? Shoulder tear from dislocations?

Asked by Winston almost 2 years ago

If you can function without your asthma acting up and is your shoulder injury repaired it is possible You can also look at a career with EMS,
