I've officiated football for over 30 years, now in my 26th on the college level. I've worked NCAA playoffs at the Division II and III level. In addition, I've coached at the scholastic level and have been an educator for over 35 years. I have no interest whatsoever in being an NFL official! Ever!

HS-Ball on 32. The QB is being chanced from the pocket, there is an illegal biindside block at the 22 yardline on player chasing QB. The QB then throws an incpt. pass. The ball is placed at the 11 half the dist. to goal, Is this a -10 run and a sack?

Why is it illegal for a defense lineman to put hands in the face of an offensive lineman, but a ball runner can stiff arm a tackler in the face?
