Are you involved with the schmoozing required to get advertisers to spend big $$$? What's the furthest your company will go to get a client to spend? Have heard all kinds of crazy stories about vacations, spa visits, lavish dinners, etc etc

I do get invited to some of the client events. If execs are involved, it's always a five star hotel and food and drinks galore. Companies allot a certain amount of money for that stuff.

What separates a good ad salesperson from a great one?

Being able to sell through new programs, cross platform deals, innovative sponsorships...going above and beyond what's there.

What's your favorite commercial that you've worked with an advertiser to create? One that just knocked it out of the park in terms of entertainment value and promotion of a product?

Not involved in creating ad spots. Just work on approving pricing for that spot.

Are there any recent TV ads in particular that have really blown you away? Perhaps during the Super Bowl?

To establish pricing for a commercial etc, is there just a "plug-and-chug" formula, or is more complicated than that?
